Very beautiful and old Sami Sami knife composed of a sheath made of 2 bone plates riveted one on the other with geometric decorations and a knife with a bone handle interspersed with horn rings? , also engraved with geometric decorations. The steel blade, many times sharpened, is fixed by a chiseled brass ring and a brass ball. Visible gaps (see photos). A leather band keeps the knife in its sheath. Very beautiful and deep patina of use on the handle of the knife. An inscription "Norge" engraved on the handle would therefore give him Norwegian. Length of the knife alone: 25.5 cm. Period: 19th century.
