"Reliquary From The End Of The 15th Century, Finely Worked."This reliquary is probably from Tuscany, cylindrical in shape, it is characterized by a polylobed foot in gilded copper finely engraved with instruments of the passion of Christ between medallions, a lower beaded band. Series of scissors with plant motifs and lines. The onion has engraved plant motifs. The upper containment structure of the display case is in gilded bronze and is of the best quality of goldsmith. It is composed of 6 fluted Ionic columns resting on frames with guardrail patterns and ending in upper and lower part with winged putti of lenticular quality, the upper ones ending in pinnacles. Unfortunately, the specimen is missing the top cover.
The height of the object is 32.5 cm.
