Elegant portico clock from the Empire period. Architecture in sea green marble. Two columns representing the Greek temples. the entablature (upper part) is decorated with famous carved bas-reliefs, vases and a star. Large domed white enamel dial, highlighted by an outline of palmettes. The space between the columns is occupied by a drapery and a butterfly-shaped pendulum (symbol of the Empire). Ornamentation in gilded bronze with finely chiseled mercury endowed with a very good state of conservation of the gilding.

Original mechanism without modification. wire suspension. hour and half-hour bell on old bell.

Perfect authenticity and a remarkable state of conservation.
