Silver Hand Candle Holder, Paris End XIXth Century.

Lovely hand candlestick in sterling silver, Regency style.
It rests on a plain box, collecting the tray decorated with ovals interrupted by six clasps in the shape of shells. The very elegant handle begins with an acanthus leaf, continues with a fall of florets on an amati background and ends with a man's head. It is accompanied by its original bobèche, punched. It is in good condition.

Goldsmith: Eugène Michaut in Paris, from 1882 to 1896.
