"Stained Glass- Vegetation With A Golden Pheasant"
This stained glass window in 4 panels represents a golden pheasant on a rock in front of a body of water, it is surrounded by hollyhocks, iris, water lilies and wisteria. Some dragonflies, a bird and a butterfly are also present.This stained glass window was made of rectabgular colorless glasses painted with "grissaile", enamel and silver yellow, then surrounded by H-shaped lead.
The 4 panels are surrounded by ithe original wooden framel which are assembled to make a screen
The base of the second panel on the left is signed J.B. Proye 83 Fbg St. Antoine Paris
It has been made in the 1900.
