Ferdinand BARBEDIENNE (1810-1892)Important bronze cup in the shape of a kylix
Bronze cup supported by a bust of an ancient woman, resting on a pedestal, the outer part decorated with a wolf threatening a lamb on one side, and a rabbit pulled by a duck on the other side, the side handles with foliage patterns.
Good condition, traces of green patina.
Circa 1870.
Apparently unsigned.
