"Ochydactyl By Georges Retif"

Finger exerciser Ochydactyl by Georges RETIF made in Sancoins (France) c. 1922.
Apparatus invented by RETIF in 1922 (french patent 1923 N° 567113 and U.S. patent 1929 N° 1720571) used by musicians to increase their finger's nimbleness, independence action, and strength.
First model of this apparatus with a wheel, the following will have a lever.
Four adjustable rubber-padded clamps for fingersathe, a seat for the wrist .
With the other hand the operator would crank the device in either direction in order to make the fingers travel up and down thus making them more nimble. The flywheel could be swapped in order to exercise both hands.
