Large Flemish Verdure Tapestry dating from the mid-17th century.
The verdiur depicts an idyllic view of the landscape typical of the Flemish region at the time: in the center, surrounded by a lake, lush greenery and trees, depicts a majestic castle, around swans and birds. In the background, a complex of Romanesque buildings stands out.
The whole composition is crowned with asymmetrical drawings of knights' helmets, cups, parrots and ribbons.The center of the tapestry is accentuated by the unicorn and lion's veil.Border decorated with flowery foliage.
The tapestry has a protective lining.
