Blown Glass, Green Jaspers: 19th Century Rolling Pin

Rolling pin, blown glass, bottle green color with inclusion of white enamel, very pretty in the light. On each side, to facilitate handling, two small round handles were turned, one of which bore the mark of the blower's pipe, the roller was filled with sand to make it heavier, and it was capped with wax. Pontil of the hammered and slightly polished glass blower, Beautiful antique object, rare to find!
