"Oil Vinaigrier In Sterling Silver 18th Century From R. P. Holiday ."Beautiful oil and vinegar holder in solid silver from the goldsmith Rene Pierre Ferrier , renowned Parisian goldsmith. Well punched, it bears the letters dates from 1782 "T" and for one of the receptacles the letter "T" for 1783. This curiosity of marking is explained by the fact that this object had to be manufactured straddling the two years. The model is classic, decorated with vine branches and vine leaves. A cordeliere follows the outline of the object and gives it a certain originality. The two double glass bottles of blue and sizes in the Bohemian style are I think original. One of them has a circular thread visible in the photos and one of the caps has a tiny sparkle. No restorations or welds. weight: 550 g. length: 27cm.
