Lochet and dated 1918, framing of a wooden stick painted gray-beige, all in good condition. Dim. 92 x 107 cm, ax 81 cm. G. Lochet (1888-1969) From 1909 to 1914, he attended the Julian Academy in Paris where he attended the lessons of Henri Royer and Marcel Baschet. His notebooks by Sergeant Cochet, gathering drawings and sketches made on the Front and elements from his personal diary, are precious testimony to this painful experience. He was also a member of the Society of Painter and Engravers, the Salon des Indépendants and the Salon d'Automne Committee.
