Very large wall cartel and console in Boulle marquetry and brown scales by Nicolas Delaunay master watchmaker in Paris 18th century around 1735 - brass inlays, richly decorated with bronzes. Provenance Noblesse Duchy of Lorraine. Fame covers amortization - 4 fire pots (torches) - acanthus leaves - gallery in gendarme hat - 4 caryatids dressed in a tunic and carrying bouquets of flowers - brass dial chiseled with enameled cartridges with Roman numerals blue and signed Nicolas Delaunay in Paris - original needles - on the door 3 young women playing rope - all supported by heads of grotesque mustaches and lion feet - the console with 5 uprights detached richly adorned with chiseled bronzes, rosettes and acanthus leaves - all in very good condition - revised and gilded bronzes - Total height 1.57 m - width 0.61 m - depth 28 cm - cartel height 1.11 m - base height 46 cm -
