Kosiñski studied in the years 1866-1896 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and continued his studies in Munich. From 1877 he worked as a drawing teacher at Sniatyn, Drohobych, at the Real School of Realism in Stryj, and from 1893 at the First Real School of Real Life in Krakow, together with its director. Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Krakow, the Society for the Promotion of Fine Arts and the Warsaw Institute of Art Propaganda. In 1907, he settled permanently in Lviv and spent the last years of his life there. The influence of the paintings of Juliusz Kossak and Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski is visible in his works.
