Inkwell in yellow Sainte-beaume marble with shell decoration, Louis XIV period. The Sainte-beaume yellow marble comes from the quarry located in Pourcieux in the Var (France) and was widely used in the 17th and 18th centuries. The quarry was only active in the 17th and 18th centuries. Dim. (L x W x H): 35 x 22 X 5
