Superb painting representing a scene from Bistrot de Montmartre by the painter Émile Albert delluc.
Émile Albert delluc lived his painting all his life and participated in some exhibitions including that of Bordeaux in 1928 with his friend André derain.
Born in 1888, at the age of 23, in 1911, painter and draftsman by profession
After having lost a first child born in 1911 and died 1912, he devoted himself to drawing and painting taking as themes, the ballerinas of the Paris opera or, he will spend a lot of time and for another theme, the life of Montmartre, popular Parisian life in the 20,30,40 years.
He will also spend time in Belgium and more specifically in Ostend where he will paint port scenes.
Émile Albert delluc lived very well with his painting and therefore had no particular need to exhibit to sell, which is why he was not listed in the reference works of painting of this period.
This painter is one of the few who have been forgotten and remains to be discovered.
Émile Albert delluc painted a great deal in Montmartre, in cabarets and also at the Paris Opera.
