"Printz Dining Room"We present this complete dining room developed in the workshops of the Maison PRINTZ located at 12 rue Saint Bernard in Paris. It dates from a few years before Eugène PRINTZ, born June 1, 1889 in Paris, became the great PRINTZ we know, famous for avant-garde creations from the 1920s to 1930s, sometimes in collaboration with Pierre Charreau, another great the time. To return to our dining room, this is an LXVI style set in mahogany comprising: A buffet with two bodies, the lower part being a row with three doors and three drawers, the upper part with two doors, on the glazed center, and cupboard with full door on each side. A serving table covered with marble and accompanied by an ice cream resting on it. A very large oval table with six caned chairs, modeled. These pieces of furniture are in solid mahogany and underlined with marquetry nets. The manufacturing quality is absolutely perfect. Everything suggested that Eugène Printz was already, at the time, a marvelous cabinetmaker, he lacked only the fact of being a little more inventive, which he succeeded fully thereafter. Unfortunately, he disappeared at the age of only 59. He had clients from all over the world and decorated, among other things, the offices of Jeanne Lanvin. dimensions: total height of the two-piece sideboard 2.24 m - Bottom part: length 1.61 m - height 1 m - depth 0.57 m Table dimension: 1.60 x 1.22 m and height 0, 76 m Size of the service: 1.23 x 0.99 x 0.47 m Dimension of the ice: 1.60 x 1.07 m The price of € 3,000 is from us.
