" A Roman Glass And Gold Pendant. "
A Roman glass and gold Pendant.
CIRCA 2ND - 3RD Century A.D.
Glass pendant in the shape of an amphora is framed in yellow gold. Type of glass "millefiori", with several multicoloured strips, typical of Romanesque art. The pendant has a twisted gold wire frame. There are traces of an old reddish patina on the golden parts of the pendant.
