"Table Signed Abel Boyé"
Painting of a young woman painted on cardboard signed Abel Dominique Boyé, born May 6, 1864 in Marmande, where he died in 1934, is a French painter. Painter of figures, history, nudes, genre and portraits , he is the pupil of Benjamin Constant. He exhibited at the Salon of French artists from 1884 and obtained a 3rd class medal there in 1888 as well as a travel grant from the Ministry of Public Instruction and Fine Arts (1895). Gold medal of the Salon of French artists of 1895, it is then put in Hors-concours. He also exhibited at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1889 and in 1900, and in Barcelona, Brussels, London, Geneva and Lyon. His works are kept in various museums including in Bordeaux, Agen and Narbonne1. It is decorated with the Legion of Honor Dimensions without frame Height 26 cm Width 21 cm
