Nice little portrait of a man at the beginning of XIX attributed to Boilly. He is an illustrious stranger, but his blue white and red clothes indicate his political opinion. He is a Republican. He sketches a smile and his gaze is lively. Beautiful presence of the painting, an oil on panel is in good condition, but deserves a cleaning. Very nice frame in gilded wood with a small lack.With frame: 28 x 31.5 cm, without 17 x 21 cm
