"Silver Chalice, Portugal Lisbon Around 1810"
Chalice in hammered silver and vermeil resting on a curved round base with a doucine, the baluster barrel, tubular with threaded flanges. The screw-mounted cup, golden inside and slightly flared. This chalice is devoid of any decoration. Portuguese work from the beginning of the 19th century Master Silversmith: Antonio Firmo da Costa (1793-1824) Wears a tester's punch from the Lisbon office in force from 1810 until 1814 French "swan" and zigzag control punches Height: 23.5 cm Base diameter: 11 cm Weight: 453 gr Very good condition / no accidents or shocks.
