Jef De Pauw (Schaerbeek, 1894 - Bruxelles, 1947) is a painter, draftsman, watercolorist, engraver. Expressionist tendency. He regularly stays in Paris, London and Provence. He exhibited at the "Cabinet Maldoror" (Ravenstein) in Brussels in 1925. His painting "The Violin" was then acquired by the State. Works at the Brussels Museum in the Town Hall of Etterbeek, in the Parc de la Boverie in Liège. Works also kept at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts in Brussels and the Museum of Modern Art in Liège. Artist referenced in Bénézit (volume 10, p.231, edition of 1999.), Arto and Piron.
