Portrait of Marie Anne. Cadre Montparnasse Jean Gabriel Domergue 1889 - 1962 Student at the Ecole des Beaux - Arts in Paris. Prix de Rome for painting in 1911. In 1938, he executed a composition comprising a naked woman intended for the campaign for Rigaud's new perfume (Féerie). That same year as in 1936 he was a member of the Jury for the election of Miss France. In 1939, he produced the poster for the first Cannes festival. In 1950, he became curator of the Jacquemart André museum. Jean Gabriel Domergue likes to paint women. His favorite subject is "La Parisiennne". He is the inventor of the "Pin-up". His model was Nadine de Rotschild. He paints couples at the racetracks, at the opera, at the theater, and also half-naked or naked ladies, but always very pretty ......
