Bottle vase, round neck and square base, motif '' BACA '', designed by Nils THORSSON (1898-1975). In 1917 graduated from the Royal Danish Academy, he excelled as a designer. In 1949 at the Royal Copenhagen he was at the head of a team of talented designers who are at the base of creation, Scandinavian ceramics, recognized today. The collection '' BACA '' (1964-70) is hand painted and goes from naturalism to the abstract to the geometric pattern. On this vase we can see patterns of birds and stylized flowers ...
