  • Plain silver sugar tongs ending in spoons. The central socket in the shape of a spinning top.
  • Silvermarks: Charge: BD in English letters for the small works of [1, n ° 109] from 1775 to 1780, Jurande: B crowned (Latin letter) surmounting two points for Brodeaux from 13-12-1776 to 31-12-1778 [1, NR]; Discharge: profile turned to the left for small works from 1775 to 1780 [1, n ° 112]. Master goldsmith: PS, two points of remedy surrounding a three-pointed crown (small hallmark) for Patrice Sacriste (mo in Bordeaux from 1759 to 1790). He was apprenticed at Lalanne. [1, p.413]
  • This silver sugar tong is typical of Bordeaux production in the second half of the 18th century. A sugar tongs by Mathieu Bouchon from 1773 from the old coll. David-Weill (n ° 3285) remains very close to our model ([1, p.207] & [2, n ° 440])
