Attached to its roots, Tony Cardella will not stop through his painting to represent landscapes borrowed from Isle of Beauty and its inhabitants. Its bright and colorful palette perfectly transcribes the colors of the shores of the Mediterranean.
In 1941, the artist completed admirable paintings for the interior of the Franciscan Church of L'ile Rousse, giving this place of worship its primary function of meditation and prayer.
He participated in numerous exhibitions both in mainland France and in Corsica, where his talent was rewarded and praised by critics.
