Precious and tiny box in chased and gilt silver, size of a pomander, bearing hallmarks from the 18th century, goldsmith's hallmark and city hallmark, of German, Prussian or Russian origin ?
Baroque, scalloped, entirely chiseled of leaves and quadruple leaves standing out against gold on a dark background, it is notched of four grooves, which run from the foot to the cover, and which perhaps made it possible to tie four links and seal them together. In my opinion, (hypothesis), it could be a gray amber box or very precious ointment .....
Good condition, no flaw.
