Traces of coats of arms under the marquis crown, the order of Saint-Louis in saltire.
The fork is numbered 468
Very good condition.
Note that the fork has been repolished by its former owner.

Hallmark of Charles Prozelle, received master on June 4, 1729, died in January 1748 (Fleur de lys crowned, two grains, CP, one star)
Hallmark charge for Paris 1738-1744 (Crowned A with two palms interleaved)
Corresponding discharge hallmark for small works (fox head)
Jurande hallmark from 30.09.1739 to 29.12.1740 (Z crowned)
