Brillador and Fanfaron, bronze sculpture signed and titled on the terrace with the stamp of founder Susse Frères, beautiful original brown patina. Brillador and Fanfaron, pack dogs of the princes of Condé. Auguste CAIN (1821 - 1894), animal artist, son-in-law of Pierre Jules Mène, of which he will clearly be influenced, he has received numerous orders from the state for monumental works in bronze, including the two groups of pack dogs from the gardens of the castle of Chantilly. Some of these large bronzes were published in reduced formats.
