"Copper Ferrat. Auvergne. Late 18th-early 19th Century."
Forged cylindrical tank with rolled edge and banded foot. Rolled handles and riveted vertical tensioners. Cap bottom. Tinned interior. Diameter: 36 cm. Height: 25 cm. Origin: SOUTH AUVERGNE. This utensil, used for transporting water, and despite a vague similarity to a grain measure, is by no means a bushel. Very good condition. Late 18th-early 19th century.
