"Regency Period Pantalonniere"
Beautiful walnut wardrobe from the early 18th century, made up of two superimposed bodies. The upper part opens with two doors with two panels, surmounted by a thin sculpted crosspiece and a flat cornice. The lower part, a chest of drawers with two curved crossbow drawers. Arched feet carved with acanthus leaves ending in hooves. Very beautiful crosspiece richly carved in the center of a rock garden. Rounded and sculpted uprights with knockout. Paneled sides. The quality of the walnut and the sculptures is reminiscent of Grenoble productions of the time. The key, the beautiful handles, the keyholes and the locks are made of wrought iron and all are original. It is in excellent condition. Dauphiné, Regency period. Height 245, width 165, depth 72.
