Circa 1850/1900 France Provence Amazing and rare Patchwork collected in Provence and dating from the second half of the 19th century. Printed cotton diamonds forming squares sewn together at the front stitch. All the Indian women date between 1820 and 1880. Alternation of red-backgrounded Andrinople prints, punctuated with pitch, Indian, flowered Indian ... About fifteen triangles are altered and possibly to be replaced, otherwise very good resistance of the canvas for the rest. Very good condition of color and conservation.
