"Large Norman Pitcher With Spiraloid Ribs - Blown Glass - 18th Century Normandy Glassware"
Large blown glass pitcher, Normandy XVIIIth.
Teardrop-shaped, with spiraloid ribs,
large pinched hemmed beak,
hollow handle reported hot with pliers,
some very small bubbles in the glass, pontil, slight traces of use below.
Elegant and unusual shape, good grip on the handle.
Good condition, neither fel nor shine.
Tiny small thread (barely visible) below the upper attachment of the handle, usual on old Norman decanters when the handle is hot-laid.
