  • Dim: 24.2 cm side; weight: 642g
  • Square silver bowl with polylobé contour, eight ribs and molded fillets. Coat of arms of alliances in the center, family Punctis de la Tour deBoen (Forez) Often grouped in pairs, this type of jar, shallow, square or rectangular, was intended to serve fruit stewed.
  • Punches: Under the molding: Charge; Crowned, for Paris, 1768-1774 [1, No. 465]; Jurande: G crowned, for Paris, from July 16, 1770 to July 110, 1771, Maître-orfèvre: a hammer, probably for Jacques-Pierre Marteau Jacques-Pierre Marteau, goldsmith in Paris, he did his apprenticeship with Charles Viardot. On March 19, 1757, he becomes master, with the guarantee of Pierre Balzac. he lived on the Pont au Change from 1759 to his death in 1779. His widow took over the workshop until 1787.
