"Ewer In Glazed Earth Dite"
Ewer hunched glazed terracotta with a slender neck of green color, decorated with rosettes in relief, twisted handle which is also called "damsel of Avignon". If the spout in the shape of a bird or a dragon allows to put some in the category of other damsels have attributes that relate rather to the male sex as presented. On the ridge as on the belly are applied decorations in relief to the forms of plants over the varnish. These ewers present in the south of France (Marseille, Beaucaire, Avignon ...) turn out to be Turkish pottery made in Canakkale small port located on the strait of the dardanelles.
