"Timbale, Silver, Coat Of Arms, XVIIIth"
Beautiful timpani tulip resting on a piedouche adorned with a frieze of oves, the body engraved with coat of arms crowned with a crown count, the upper part engraved with a drappé of lambrequins and pompons on amati background, Paris 1744 - 1750. Only the punch of load and discharge are visible. Weight 144g. State, well, this kettledrum was formerly restored and repolished which explains the wear of the punches. The body is engraved with a coat of arms which is rare they have often been degraded and the name of a girl, Alix de Combaud (can be the same family?).
