Powder case waxed (colors) finely chiseled with rich decoration of medallions, ribbons and foliage, with goldsmith's mark, presenting alliance coat of arms with the coat of arms of the Espivent Family of Villesboisnet *, from Château de Treulan in Pluneret (Morbihan, Brittany), vintage early nineteenth century. This case is in good condition and is of high quality. GH or GR goldsmith hallmark with a dove. The coat of arms on display is the coat of arms of the Espivent Family of Villeboisnet (owner of Château de Treulan) with the Cheval de Fontenay family. The coat of arms was engraved on this seal later (late nineteenth). A note: usual wear at the seal, tiny small shocks and deformations, scratches and wear of time, see photos. * The Espivent family from La Villesboisnet is a family of Breton nobility from the region of Saint-Brieuc. Arthur (1809 - 1897) will receive the title of count of Villesboisnet; In 1872 he bought the castle of Treulan in Pluneret (Morbihan).
