"Pair Of Double Salt Shakers In Silver And Crystal France 1850"
Pair of double molten silver salt shakers resting on a boat-shaped tray with four feet with applied fasteners. The mount, screwed on the tray, is openwork decorated with shells and edged movement. The socket is in the middle decorated with the asymmetric curve ring surmounted by stylized five-pointed shell. The upright containers are cut crystal, engraved with sun on the belly, with a gold border on the top and on the base. Work in the style of Louis XV France, mid-nineteenth century. Silver 950/1000 punches Minerva.
