"Pair Of Candelabra Candlesticks Gilt Bronze And Marble H 51 Cm. 19th Century"We present these beautiful and interesting Italian candelabra period Empire, gilded bronze and beautiful yellow marble of Siena, dating from the early nineteenth century, very rare.
Let's start with the four feet in the shape of an inverted capital, carved with refined gilt bronze ornaments.
The triple base with steps and obelisks (with the detail of a braided crown in gilt bronze) are yellow Siena marble with veins ranging from ivory white to gray blue, passing through the reddish: one of the most beautiful marbles, which brings back luxury, the color of gold, military triumphs, also called lithic gold.
In the upper part, the five arms extend symmetrically, reminiscent of a flower that has just bloomed, as can be seen in the lower part: the pod opens, leaving the leaves cascading, at the as we go up to the central arm,
the four lateral arms seem to move, taking a position from which one can admire all the gilt bronze details with flowers and orange leaves.
The five Medici vases rest on plates that reveal ornaments of orange leaves in the lower part simulating the opening of a branch.
In conclusion: a pair of very original and elegant candelabras with a base in the shape of an obelisk in very fine marble, of great decoration and which, by their clear color, is a pleasure for the eyes.
