Pendants Earrings Old Cameos On Coral

For pierced ears.
The earrings sleepers are each adorned with a cameo on coral representing for one the profile of a woman and for the other the profile of a man, all in closed set with engraved plant motifs.
The old sleeper retains another oval shaped cameo representing also the profile of a man for one and a woman for the other held in the same set and adorned on the upper and lower part of foliage.
The pendants of old ears are finished in pendants by a pearl of gold entirely chiselled. The lower part can be detached from the coral sleeper allowing to wear this old jewel in two ways. The attachment system is broken forward.

Main material: yellow gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats.
Overall dimensions: Height: 6.7 cm, width: 18 mm, thickness: 8 mm.
Dimensions of the sleeping part: Height: 2.5 cm, width: 15.1 mm, thickness: 8 mm.
Net weight: 18.8 g approximately.
Authentic old jewel - French work of the 1830s.
Our opinion: These ancient jewels have become extremely rare, especially in this state of conservation.
The story of this jewel: From an important succession of a large French family, these earrings would have been made to special order. Cameos would represent the 4 children (2 girls and 2 boys) of the applicant couple.
