It is about Alfred Emile Dezaunay, born in Nantes in 1854. It is a post-impressionist painter. He was a student of Elie Delaunay and Puvis de Chavannes. He was one of the founding members of the Salon d'Automne in Paris, where he regularly appeared. He also exhibited at the Salon des Tuileries. He specialized in painting typical figures of Brittany. He also painted many Breton ports and quays.
