Object description :

" Germany, XVIII Th"
Large ROUND FLAT depicting Isaac's Sacrifice.
Red earth with yellowish slip under lead glaze, enhanced with copper oxide and manganese. Gross reverse.
Decor in pastillage and embossed applique a lamb on a pyre, an angel holding the sword of Abraham, kneeling Isaac and a floral stem around the edge. It bears the mention: ABRAHAM OFERT IACK / 1768.
Diameter: 48 cm.
