Gouache On Vellum « la Visitation » 18ème

Rare gouache on vellum of the 18th century, representing the meeting of the Virgin and her cousin Elisabeth.
The two women are represented on the steps of a temple, trees in the background and presumably their respective spouses, Joseph and Zacharie.
Very good quality of execution, with many details.
Framed in a beautiful gilt wood frame Louis XV (some restorations).
