"Pair Of Topics In Antique Bronze And Gilt Empire Period"
Beautiful pair of antique draped bronze patinated and gilt bronze Empire period resting on a pedestal made of red Griotte marble and white Carrara marble fluted on the sides. They are decorated with a mascaron, palmettes and a frieze of lotus leaves. Sitting on a fluted pedestal, the young man holds a horn in his hand and the young woman a wreath of flowers. The gilding and patina of origin are in very good state of conservation. Parisian work of the early nineteenth century.
