"Siamese Flamed Silk And Linen - France Eighteenth Century"
Circa 1750/1800 France Two large panels in Siamese striped silk and linen (or cotton?) Dating from the eighteenth century. Three stitched panels of origin whose central panel is complete with its edges in 54 cm wide. The large green and yellow stripes are deliciously mottled or flamed. Part of a set of bed, draperies or curtain that can be recomposed for a very fine 17th or 18th century Château de Campagne decoration Dimensions: A panel of 94 cm x 216 cm and a panel of 115 x 320 cm Clean, fabric very resistant, only two tiny holes (0.8 cm max) on one of the panels.
