"Wine Jug, Copper. Rhône Valley. 17th-18th Century."
Elegant and wide belly curved on a base rolled base. The frustoconical neck with rolled edge, has a bead at its base. Bottle spout, reinforced by a bridle flange, riveted to the neck. Fixed flat handle, in console, with raised wings. Cover hummocky, hilly, decorated with triple crossed flutes. Poucier in S. Anse lined, dangling on turntables hook. Nice work of dinanderie apparent hammering. Origin: Rhône Valley. Height: 37 cm. 17th-18th century. Very beautiful state.
