Bust of woman in the antique draped. On circular base. Patina nuanced. Ferdinand Barbedienne smelter, mechanical reduction stamp Collas. Epoque nineteenth century. Height 26 cm. The Barbedienne House is a famous foundry of the nineteenth century, which quickly achieved great renown for its editions of statues and objets d'art. As a bronze workshop, the company works with other crafts, and associates its name with works of great diversity, especially in furniture. Present at all the Universal Exhibitions of its time, the Barbedienne House was regularly distinguished by awards, especially during the Universal Exhibition of 1855 where she received the Grand Medal of Honor.
