"Egoist Jug Silver Paris 1819-1838"
Silver jug, resting on pedestal decorated with friezes of water leaves. The plain body, adorned with a frieze of water leaves, has a pouring spout decorated with palmettes at the base and ending in the shape of a baker's head and a blackened wooden handle adorned with a silver floret. leaning on a young man's head, probably Bacchus. The catch of the lid is shaped like a pine cone.
