Covered shaker mug

Very good condition, little original cracks under the cup

Cup covered shaker and saucer Saint-Cloud covered soft dough a white enamel decorated with branches of prunus flowers in relief, in the Chinese spirit. The lid rests on a silver mount bearing the discharge of the parisian silver around 1744-1750.

Around 1720, Henri Trou at the head of the manufacture directs it to the production of white porcelain with relief decorations in the spirit of that imported from Fujian which is appreciated by porcelain lovers. the ivory tone of the material lends itself to their imitation. Subsequently, these sets will disappear in favor of those in color. We find this decoration in relief on a shaking mug at the Museum of Decorative Arts of Paris (without cover)
