"Miniature Dinanderie Work Of Hairy"Beautiful series of miniature pans and cauldrons produced by a soldier craftsman dinandier of the First World War; executed with coins. These objects are as remarkable for their quality of execution as they are for the story they tell. Many of our brave soldiers sometimes used their time but especially their know-how in the execution of a multitude of objects related to their profession. This series includes: 5 pans, each of different size, 4 of them are pieces of 10, 5 and 2 centimes from the end of the 19th century to the feminine profile of Cérès from the engraver Oudine, the fourth, tiny (1cm in diameter !) of 1 cent to the male profile of an emperor of the sculptor Barre. Forgive me I'm not an expert in numismatics, many details escape me. The cauldrons carry, one a lion holding under his paw before a blazon; the other a lion standing in a crowned coat of arms ... They have a handle made of brass wire. Diameters of the pots: from 1 to 2,5 cm. Diameters of the cauldrons: 3 cm. Heights: from 7 mm to 11 mm approximately. I offer a miniature hairy gourd and his lead quarter for whom it may interest (see photo) Free delivery for metropolitan France.
