Armenian Kazakh Carpet, Caucasus, 153 Cm X 253 Cm, Wool On Wool, XIXth Century

Rare Kazakh, Caucasian, in wool on wool, measuring 153 cm wide by 253 cm long.
This beautiful old carpet from the second half of the 19th century, presents an incredible number of patterns on seven medallions, the field and the borders.
There are a multitude of insects, flowers and tribal motifs all different and from the Caucasus, the carpet has annotations and dates in the medallions of the top and bottom, which I will strive to decipher in the days to come.
This extraordinary model has kept its beautiful rusty colors, blue, cream and brown in many tones, the wool is clean and has slight wear, but given the seniority, it is quite normal and this carpet is a very good Caucasian of collection.
I will provide an explanatory and a complete description of this piece during the sale. The tear on the photo will be restored to the rules of the art on request, although I prefer to see this piece in the state.
